Why protien is necessary?

Protein is actually building block of our bodies.
Protien is helpful in making muscle fibre.
Protien is not only essential for body builders but for normal working people also because it helps in making muscles.
Protien sources examples -
  *pulses
  *meat (chicken,fish especially)
  *beans.
